The Mansley Business Centre is located in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, providing serviced offices to the SME business sector and has been established for more than 30 years.
Having been recently acquired by new management, the Mansley Business Centre is now being run by a closely held family business. Providing a wide range of offices to rent with both voice and data communication services, virtual offices, mailbox services, and a meeting room to hire. As a family-owned business, they very much take pride in running the centre with both new and existing tenants receiving a friendly, professional, and responsive service that accommodates the changing and diverse needs of any business as it grows and progresses.
The Mansley Business Centre were presented with various challenges that required a flexible and easily managed communication and connectivity solution to be designed. GRH Comms have had great success over the years with delivering reliable telephone systems to Multi-Tenant Business Centres and as expected alongside the business telephone services supplied to each tenant there were additional requirements that needed to be taken into consideration for this type of environment which included. Offering reception services, covering calls and message handling. The Mansley Centre wished to build a long-term relationship with a communication partner that would fully manage the business telephony and data connectivity requirements of the tenants. They also had some real commercial concerns with regards to the move away from their existing supplier. There had been mention by the incumbent of an extended contractual period being applied to their voice and data services and as such, opening up the possibility of considerable termination charges being applied should they choose to move their business to an alternative provider.
GRH Comms responded and was able to demonstrate an all-round solution that catered for all of their requirements along with providing the additional project management, advice and support required to ensure a smooth transition away from their existing provider.
On winning the contract GRH Comms provided an end-to-end business solution deploying an LG-Ericsson iPECS cloud telephone system delivering a highly flexible and scalable solution with additional tenant numbering services. The additional layer of routing allows for number allocation and retention for tenants when moving to, or away from the Mansley Centre. The ability to offer a bespoke reception service to tenants as and when requested was also fully catered for within the system’s configuration. GRH Comms in addition uplifted the internet connectivity to fibre connectivity and activity went on to manage the the data and wi-fi services throughout the totality of the centre.
GRH also fully took on board the Mansley Centres commercial concerns with regards to termination charges being applied as implied they would be, by the existing supplier. The GRH account manager worked closely with the directors at Mansley Centre to ensure they were fully informed of their rights under Off Comms (ARC) automatic rolling contracts laws that ensured they were in fact enable to move all services with no termination charges whatsoever being applied.
After the solution was fully embedded, it was agreed the partnership would remain proactive with any prospective new tenants introduced to GRH and a consultation period established for each tennats telephony and data requirements. The consultation would cover elements such as business numbers they wished to bring with them, how many staff members needed phones, and how their inbound calls should be routed, data connectivity requirement and additional features such as mobile user requirements when working out of the office on the move or at home reviewed. The account managers within GRH personally took the time to manage all migration projects, every tenant using the service experienced a seamless transfer of their telephone service to or from the Mansley Centre with no unexpected downtime.
Results and success
After the deployment of LG-Ericsson iPECS cloud system and uplift of data connectivity. The Mansley is now capable of providing the high-grade suite of voice and data services that is rightly promised and required by tenants within the business centre. With the addition of an ongoing and active support rap provided by the GRH in-house support team. The Mansley Centre has the added reassurance that should a tenant need to implement changes to any aspect of the services provided. GRH is in a position to take immediate action given that remote diagnostic capability and full visibility of all tenant number routing is embedded across the platform.
The overall solution was an agreed success and the new business partnership formed between The Mansley Centre and GRH Comms a very positive one.
