ADSL Broadband

Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) is a type of broadband that uses the same line as your home line. It’s the most commonly used broadband, due to its budget-friendly price. However, it also tends to be the slowest option.

FTTC Broadband

Unlike FTTP, Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) involves the cables from the local exchange, stopping at a street cabinet – the green boxes you might have seen on the side of the road. From there, traditional copper cabling is used to connect the street cabinet to your business’s router. It’s worth noting that by 2025, BT will be cutting off all standard telephone lines, which means you will no longer be able to use FTTC Broadband.

WiFi

Wifi is the wireless technology used to connect computers, tablets and smart devices, including mobile phones, to the internet.

FTTP Broadband

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) Broadband produces internet at a higher speed. FTTP means that the broadband internet connection is connected from the local exchange – in other words, the data centre – directly to the router in your business, which is much faster than the old copper telephone line used by other broadband services

SIP Trunks

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunks are the virtual version of the analogue phonelines, making it an ideal solution when BT cuts off all standard phone lines.
