Having spent the last 26 years within the communications sector, you could say I have seen a lot of changes over that time. However, one very important thing I believe remains as true today as when i first came into the industry Is that the success of any individual or business is firmly rooted in taking the time to build strong and lasting relationships.  This includes our clients of course but also with our colleagues, suppliers and dare I say, our competitors also. 

I joined GRH as I believe that all individuals within our team bring that ethos to the table; building those long-term relationship with our many clients, while delivering a multi-layered communication solution in a agile and flexible way to the high standards rightly expected, this is what GRH is all about.

Before joining GRH in 2021, I spent all my 26 years within the communications sector in sales and management roles. I have always greatly enjoyed meeting with prospective new clients the challenges presented and translating those initial conversations into a lasting productive business relationship. I have established experience in wining SME and major accounts across both the commercial and public sectors and being directly responsible for managing numerous voice and data cloud-based solutions, connectivity projects, network infrastructure and mobile phone deployments. In more recent years I have additionally specialised in deploying disaster recovery and business continuity strategies within the heath care and education market, winning national accounts in both the care home and surgery sectors.

Having known Graham, GRH’s Managing Director for some years and understanding GRH was formed and remains lead by talented engineers. It became clear to me that GRH has a unique offering within the communication market that I wished to add my experience to and join the already successful team. We have found that our combined values and experience ensured that we are not only capable of delivering a highly technical solution but are also able to translate that solution in an uncomplicated and transparent manner to our clients. GRH is all about less industry jargon and plain speaking, time and time again our clients tell us how much they appreciate this clarity in our approach.

Moving forward, I am personally responsible and dedicated to the continued success and sustained growth of GRH. The development of our valued team across the whole business and to ensure we always strive to improve our client’s experience whilst dealing with us. It is of upmost importance to the directors within GRH that we remain accessible as we grow and continue be personable with our clients in our approach.

Outside of work, I became a marathon runner in my 40’s. It’s now in my blood and after completing a couple of Strafford on Avon full marathons and a few Coventry and Kenilworth half marathons. 

I guess, you could say I’m hooked. Running certainty saw me through some very challenging times during the lock down years giving me the time and space to process and reset the day.

Ironically, I never had an expectation of working within the communication industry. As a younger man I took off and travelled the Middle East for some time, convinced an explorer I would be!!.

I guess the running will have to suffice for now.
